Guardiola on Mbappé: "You know where he wants to go"
Currently in Spain, Pep Guardiola was asked about Kylian Mbappé's future and possible interest from Manchester City.
Kylian Mbappé has decided to honour his contract at PSG next season, without however activating the clause to extend his lease until 2025. This has prompted PSG to look to sell him this summer, unless he shows a real desire to discuss a longer-term contract, which does not appear to be the case at this stage.
Mbappé won't be going to Manchester City
From Spain, Pep Guardiola was asked about possible Manchester City interest in the PSG star, and his answer was unequivocal: "No. He won't come to Manchester City. You already know where he wants to go," replied the Catalan coach, alluding to Real Madrid, the most likely destination for Mbappé if he leaves PSG, whether this summer or a year from now.

"There are a lot of things that happen in a year"
Asked again about his future this week by Téléfoot, Kylian Mbappé dropped a little phrase that has reignited speculation about a possible extension at PSG in the coming months: "I've already said that I'll stay next season. I said it long before all this happened. Am I going to be free in 2024? I can only resign myself to playing for PSG next year. That's what I said. There are a lot of things that happen in a year, even more so at a club like Paris Saint-Germain."
