Inter Miami rule out Messi loan to Barça
According to L'Equipe, Barça are considering joining forces with Inter Miami to sign Lionel Messi on loan. This information was quickly denied by the American franchise.
Lionel Messi's future is as uncertain as ever. While it seems certain that he will not be staying at PSG, even though the Parisian club have used his image to promote their new jersey, the Argentine is still rumoured to be between Saudi Arabia, Barcelona and Inter Miami.
The most generous offer economically speaking comes from Al Hilal, but Messi still seems to be waiting for Barça, even if his clan spread the word this week that he wouldn't wait forever for the Catalan club to get the green light from La Liga.
Over the last few hours, L'Equipe has revealed that Barça are considering joining forces with Inter Miami to secure the return of La Pulga. The idea would be for Messi to sign for Inter Miami this summer and then spend six to eight months on loan at Barça. A far-fetched plan?
Messi will soon make his decision
According to Argentinian journalist César Luis Merlo of Tyc Sports, Inter Miami have indeed made a formal offer to Messi, but the American franchise is ruling out the idea of a loan to Barça. "Leo also has an offer from Al Hilal and is waiting for the green light from La Liga to negotiate with Barça. The Argentine will make his decision in the next few days", added the source.

In Spain, journalist Toni Juanmarti of Relevo reports that L'Equipe's information came as a surprise in the USA, where no-one had heard of such a possibility. According to this source, the option of Messi being loaned out to Barça by Inter Miami has not been proposed to the American franchise.
