Kondogbia set to sign for OM for €7m
OM are in the process of recruiting Geoffrey Kondogbia, the Atlético Madrid midfielder Marcelino knows well.
Marcelino officially became OM's new coach this Friday evening, and Pablo Longoria has already found him a first recruit who should please him. As leaked this week, midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia (30) is being courted by OM, in addition to Lyon and West Ham.
According to Spanish daily AS, the Atlético Madrid midfielder is close to joining the club, where he would be reunited with Marcelino, whom he met at Valencia. This information is confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who points out that discussions between OM and Atlético Madrid concern a transfer worth around 7 million euros.
Kondogbia already agreed with OM
Geoffrey Kondogbia has already reached agreement with OM to sign a long-term contract, according to FootMercato, which reports that the Marseille club and Atlético are close to a deal.
