Arsenal close in on Havertz for €75m!

Arsenal are closing in on an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of their German striker Kai Havertz. A deal estimated at 75 million euros.

Chelsea are busy selling players before June 30 and the close of their financial year. An obligation after having spent almost €600m following the purchase of Todd Boehly.

And while N'Golo Kanté has joined Al-Ittihad free of charge and Mateo Kovavic will sign for Manchester City for €35m, Kai Havertz is close to signing for Arsenal for the modest sum of €75m.

Arsenal and Chelsea finalize details

According to The Athletic, Arsenal and Chelsea are close to an agreement for the transfer of the German striker and are finalizing the details of the operation, such as the staggering of payments and possible bonuses.

However, there is now every reason to believe that the 24-year-old German international, once linked with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, will continue his career with the Gunners.
