While Ajax Amsterdam are coming off a poor season, Timber has established himself as an indisputable starter for the Lanciers, with 47 matches played in 2022-2023. He also took part in the World Cup in Qatar with the Netherlands. A substitute against Senegal on the first day of the group phase, he went on to play all his country's other matches in their entirety.
