Mercato Barça: Jules Koundé finally breaks his silence!
Two days after the start of rumours concerning him, Jules Koundé has broken his silence on Twitter and asserts that he never asked to leave Barça.
Unhappy with playing on the right, Jules Koundé is open to a move away from Barça this summer. This was revealed on Tuesday by Spanish media outlet Relevo. Subsequently, several Catalan media outlets confirmed that the player was fed up with the way he was being used and wanted to look elsewhere. Other Spanish media have tempered this, insisting that the French international had simply asked Xavi to play in the center of the park, in his preferred position.
"I didn't ask to leave
On Thursday, Jules Koundé broke his silence on Twitter, insisting that he had never asked to leave the Barcelona club: "To be clear: at no time did I ask to leave, so I'm not going anywhere, " he assured, who is under contract until June 2027.
Para que quede claro : en ningún momento pidé para salir por lo tanto no me voy a ir a ningún lado.

In recent hours, the Catalan press had reported that his entourage had offered him to PSG, who had turned down the offer. According to the Barcelona press, Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested, but Barça is reportedly asking around €80 million for its 24-year-old defender.
