Mercato Bayern: PSG reach goal for Lucas Hernandez
PSG have almost completed the transfer of French world champion Lucas Hernandez, according to a number of corroborating sources.
As reported by L'Equipe last weekend, PSG are making good progress in the Lucas Hernandez (27) dossier. An agreement was reached several weeks ago between the French champions and the French defender from Bayern Munich, and negotiations between the clubs began a few days ago.
A transfer cheaper than expected?
Bayern Munich have stated their intention to recoup at least 50 million euros from the deal, while L'Equipe reported on Sunday that discussions were taking place for between 35 and 40 million euros. According to Cadena SER journalist Toño Garcia, a verbal but definitive agreement has been reached between the two clubs in recent hours, and all that remains is for the player, who has just returned from a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee, to undergo a medical.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Lucas Hernandez's transfer to PSG is well on the way. The two clubs are said to be working out the final details of the French world champion's transfer. The transfer could therefore be completed quickly, and would give PSG an experienced defender who can play both in the centre and on the left.
