Mercato: Brahim Diaz to return to Real Madrid

On loan to AC Milan for the past three years, Brahim Diaz is set to return to Real Madrid this summer and stay there.

Real Madrid have already found a replacement for Marco Asensio, who is set to sign for PSG. According to Relevo, Brahim Diaz will return to Real Madrid this summer and join Carlo Ancelotti's squad. Contracted to Real Madrid until 2025, the 23-year-old pocket midfielder has spent the last three seasons on loan at AC Milan.

With the departures of Marco Asensio (PSG), Karim Benzema (Al-Ittihad), Mariano Diaz (free) and possibly Eden Hazard (under contract until 2024), Real Madrid need to regenerate their attacking sector and have therefore decided to bring back Brahim Diaz, who can play as a playmaker, a winger or even a holding midfielder.

His versatility has convinced Real Madrid to invest in him next season. According to Relevo, Brahim Diaz will soon be signing a new contract, longer and more generous than his previous one.

With this return completed, Real Madrid continue to fine-tune their squad for next season. Joselu is set to arrive in attack, Fran Garcia will strengthen the left-back position, while Jude Bellingham will be the summer's star recruit. But perhaps not the only one, since after the departure of Karim Benzema, which was not planned for this summer, Real Madrid will be obliged to recruit a renowned striker.
