Mercato Chelsea: Inter Milan want Azpilicueta to replace Skriniar
In their search for an experienced defender to replace Milan Skriniar, who is set to sign a free transfer to PSG, Inter Milan have set their sights on César Azpilicueta, who has just one year left on his contract at Chelsea.
Inter Milan will have to replace Milan Skriniar during the summer mercato. The Slovak central defender has reached the end of his contract and is set to sign for PSG in the next few days. According to Sky Italia, Inter Milan are considering César Azpilicueta, who has been used to playing right-back for several years at Chelsea.
Aged 33, the former OM defender has one year left on his contract at Chelsea, but does not fit into Mauricio Pochettino's plans and could be released from his final year's contract. If he does, "Azpi" should sign a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
