Mercato Chelsea: Ziyech's transfer to Al-Nassr threatened
Saudi club Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, reached an agreement with Chelsea and Hakim Ziyech a few days ago, but the operation is now threatened by problems detected during the famous medical check-up.
The medical examination is often a formality, even if it regularly happens that a transfer fails due to a problem during the medical. Hakim Ziyech's transfer to Al-Nassr could be one such case. According to Foot Mercato, the Saudi club discovered problems with the Moroccan international's knee during his medical examinations and are now reluctant to recruit him.
Ziyech to undergo further tests
According to English journalist Ben Jacobs, a hip problem has also been detected, but Cristiano Ronaldo's club have yet to make a final decision and have scheduled further tests for the Chelsea winger this Friday. As a reminder, Ziyech's transfer to PSG fell through last winter, this time due to administrative problems.
Al-Nassr will carry out further tests today on Hakim Ziyech after red flags on his medical yesterday regarding both his knee and hip. No final decision made yet as to whether they will pull out the transfer.🇲🇦 pic.twitter.com/FnlGc5xvYt

It should be noted that the Al-Nassr club reached an agreement on Thursday evening with Marcelo Brozovic, who is expected to be transferred from Inter Milan for 23 million euros. The Saudi club are also making progress on the transfer of Lens midfielder Seko Fofana, and are also expected to sign Luis Castro, Botafogo's Portuguese coach.
