Mercato: Kolo Muani responds to PSG's interest
Randal Kolo Muani spoke to Canal Football Club about his future, and in particular about PSG, one of the many clubs interested in his services this summer.
Randal Kolo Muani ended his 2022-2023 season with a defeat to Christopher Nkunku's Leipzig in the German Cup final on Saturday. But the former Nantes man can be proud of his first season with Eintracht Frankfurt, having made 46 appearances, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists.
These statistics make him one of the most sought-after players at the start of the 2023 summer transfer window. Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG... all these big clubs have been linked with him in recent weeks, and there is even talk in Germany that Kylian Mbappé is pushing for his arrival in Paris.
Kolo Muani flattered by PSG's interest, but...
Questioned on the subject by Canal Football Club, Kolo Muani made it clear that a move to Paris was not necessarily his priority: "It' s flattering that PSG are behind you, like all the other big clubs. It's not because you come from the Paris region or grew up there that you automatically have to play for PSG," he said.

The former Nantes man was more enthusiastic when discussing a possible future in England: "Frankly, who wouldn't dream of playing in the Premier League? It's one of the best leagues around. It's the stuff of dreams, the stuff of childhood dreams. But I'm not looking for the perfect club or the best club in the world, I'm really looking for the club that's going to give me this chance to express myself, get some playing time and above all grow."
As he had already said in a press conference this week, Kolo Muani is not ruling out the possibility of staying at Frankfurt this summer either: "I'm in my third season as a professional and I still need to progress. I want to take my time, I'm not someone who's going to rush because big clubs are out there."
