Mercato: Manchester City withdraws from the race for Declan Rice
Manchester City won't match Arsenal's latest bid for Declan Rice, according to the English press.
Good news for Arsenal in the Declan Rice dossier. According to several English media outlets, as well as Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have decided to withdraw from the race to sign West Ham's defensive midfielder following the third offer transmitted on Tuesday evening by <a href=/news/mercato-arsenal-send-eur122m-for-declan-rice>Arsenal for the sum of 122 million euros, including bonuses.

Manchester City had this week made an initial offer of 104 million euros, including bonuses, to West Ham, and decided not to go further and match the Gunners' bid. As a result, Arsenal now have a free hand to finalize this record transfer with the Hammers.
