Mercato: Mourinho responds to PSG rumor
On the eve of the first leg of the Europa League semi-final between Roma and Bayer Leverkusen, Jose Mourinho was asked by Sky Italia about PSG's interest in him and possible contacts already initiated with the Parisian club.
AS Roma is playing this Thursday night a Europa League semi-final first leg against Bayer Leverkusen and the time is obviously not for speculations about the summer mercato. At least not for Jose Mourinho, focused on this very important European match.
"If they are looking for me, they have not found me"
"Did PSG call me? If they are looking for me, they have not found me because they have not talked to me (laughs)," replied the Special One to Sky Italia, he who still has a year of contract with AS Roma. In recent days, several French media have reported advanced discussions between Luis Campos and Jorge Mendes, Mourinho's agent, regarding a move to PSG this summer.
Jose Mourinho, who would be frustrated by the lack of means of AS Roma, would be open to the idea of signing for PSG and would even think of some recruits, like Sofyan Amrabat (Fiorentina). It remains to be seen whether PSG will decide to sign him as a successor to Christophe Galtier, as other possibilities are being studied.
