Mercato Nice: Bayern Munich consider Khéphren Thuram

In addition to Liverpool, Bayern Munich are interested in French international Khéphren Thuram, who is under contract at Nice until 2025.

Khéphren Thuram's long and rich season came to a sudden end on Sunday evening against Ukraine, when Les Bleuets were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Euro Espoirs. The Nice midfielder may have missed his match, but his season was an interesting one, and he is still highly rated on the transfer market.

Liverpool's interest has been known for some weeks now, and Bayern Munich have now been added to the list of courtiers of the 22-year-old Nice midfielder. According to Foot Mercato, Thomas Tuchel wants to recruit him in Bavaria, and has whispered his name to his managers. According to FM, which values the deal at €50m, discussions are expected to take place soon between the player's entourage and the German leaders.

Interest denied in Germany

In today's edition, L'Equipe confirms Bavaria's interest in Khéphran Thuram and that contacts have been made between the parties. However, according to the sports daily, Bayern have not yet contacted Nice. The same goes for Liverpool, who are in talks with the player's entourage, but not yet with the Aiglons.

In Germany, Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, reputedly close to the Bavarian club, assures us that Bayern Munich are not interested in Khéphren Thuram. Would Bayern like to keep a low profile in this matter? Possibly...
