Mercato OM: a Juventus player in the Milik deal?
Juventus are negotiating with OM for the return of Arkadiusz Milik, and are considering including one of their own players in the deal.
Massimiliano Allegri met his managers on Tuesday to prepare Juventus Turin's next season. And the Tuscan coach informed his management of his desire to keep Arkadiusz Milik, on loan this season from OM with a €7m purchase option.
As previously reported, Juventus have decided not to exercise the option to buy, but hope to keep the Pole, scorer of 9 goals this season, and thus satisfy their coach.
According to Sky Italia, Milik's return to Juventus is well underway, and should take the form of a new loan, this time with an obligation to buy, linked to feasible conditions. According to Sky Italia, Milik would first have to extend his contract with Marseille (which expires in 2025) before returning to Juventus.
OM and Juventus negotiate for Milik
In France, L' Equipe confirms that negotiations are underway between OM and Juventus for Milik. The sports daily explains that Juventus wanted a new loan deal, but with an obligation to buy only in the event of qualification for the UEFA Champions League, whereas OM wanted this option to be linked to conditions that were easier to achieve.
According to the daily, negotiations will continue on other terms, possibly including a Juventus player in the deal. No names have yet been released, but FootMercato revealed last April that OM were interested in Denis Zakaria (26), Juventus' Swiss midfielder who spent last season on loan at Chelsea.
