Mercato: OM and Atlético reach agreement for Kondogbia
OM have reached a definitive agreement with Atlético Madrid for the transfer of Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Geoffrey Kondogbia will be Marseille's first signing of the summer. This comes as no surprise, given that the deal had been well underway since last Friday's announcement of Marcelino's arrival at OM, a coach the 30-year-old midfielder had known at Valencia.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached in the last few hours between OM and Atlético Madrid for a transfer fee of €8 million, slightly more than the €7 million initially announced.
Kondogbia will commit himself to OM until June 2027, according to the Italian journalist. Over the past few days, L'Equipe has been talking about a contract running until 2026, with an additional year as an option, and an estimated gross monthly salary of €550,000 - more or less what Jordan Veretout earns at Marseille.
