Mercato OM: Gallardo says yes, he's coming!
Marseille have reached an agreement with Marcelo Gallardo, according to Le Phocéen. The Argentine coach is expected to arrive in Marseille this evening.
Marcelo Gallardo is to be OM's next coach. This was announced on Friday by Le Phocéen, a well-known website specializing in OM. While the Argentinian coach's response was expected this Friday, according to several Argentinian journalists, the Marseille-based media outlet claims that the former River Plate coach has accepted the offer made by Pablo Longoria and Javier Ribalta.

Currently in Europe, Marcelo Gallardo is even expected in Marseille this evening to sign his contract, according to Le Phocéen. The length of the contract is not yet known, but sources were speaking last night of one or two years (the legal minimum in France is two years).
Having been in search of a successor to Igor Tudor for the past two weeks, OM had made Gallardo their priority, and now seem to have succeeded in convincing him. OM's summer mercato can now begin in earnest. Moroccan central defender Romain Saïss (33, Besiktas) is being courted.
