Mercato OM: Hannibal Mejbri in your sights?
Hannibal Mejbri, a Tunisian international already linked with OM in January, is still of interest to the Phocaean club, according to the German press.
With the transfer of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund could be looking for his successor at the English midfielder's former club, Birmingham City. According to German media outlet HL-1.tv, the BvB are interested in Tunisian international Hannibal Mejbri (20), on loan to the Championship club from Manchester United this season, where he is under contract until 2026.
Hannibal Mejbri, scorer of one goal and six assists in 41 appearances, is also being courted by OM, according to the same German media outlet, which explains that the Phocaean club are considering him as a replacement for Mattéo Guendouzi, a candidate for departure at the next mercato.
Back in January, The Sun tabloid had already linked Mejbri with OM. Born in Ivry-sur-Seine in the Val-de-Marne, the hairy midfielder spent his youth with Paris FC, ACBB and AS Monaco before joining Manchester United in the summer of 2019 in a €10m transfer.
