Mercato OM: Juventus have decided on Milik
Juventus Turin have decided not to exercise their option to buy Arkadiusz Milik, set at 7 million euros, but have not yet ruled out the idea of recruiting the Polish striker from OM.
Arkadiusz Milik is returning to Marseille, at least for the time being. According to Sky Italia, Juventus Turin have decided not to exercise the purchase option negotiated with OM last summer when the Polish striker went out on loan. The purchase option was set at 7 million euros.
Juventus won't pay €7m for Milik, but...
In Italy, Milik played 39 matches this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 1 assist. Clearly not enough for Juventus to decide to invest €7 million in him. But according to Sky Italia, Juventus could try to bring the Pole back to Turin during the summer mercato, on terms lower than those set out in the first agreement.
It remains to be seen whether Pablo Longoria will agree to sell his 29-year-old striker for less than 7 million euros, given that Maurizio Sarri's Lazio Roma, who are qualified for the next Champions League, have also lined up Milik to bolster their attack this summer.
