Mercato OM: Kolasinac leaves, Amavi returns
Sead Kolasinac's departure to Atalanta Bergamo is confirmed, while Jordan Amavi will return to OM this summer before probably leaving again.
Although he had been negotiating a contract extension with OM for weeks, Sead Kolasinac is set to sign for Atalanta Bergamo, <a href=/news/mercato-om-kolasinac-to-sign-for-atalanta-bergamo>as revealed on Thursday evening by Gianluca Di Marzio. The Sky Italia journalist persisted on Friday, announcing that OM's Bosnian defender is expected to arrive in Italy next Tuesday or Wednesday to undergo a medical and then sign his contract with Dea.
OM unlikely to keep Amavi
French left-back Jordan Amavi (29) was loaned out to Getafe this season, but without much success (just 6 appearances and 244 minutes played). The Spanish club did not keep him, as they had no option to buy him, but could have made OM an offer. This was obviously not the case, given the former Nice man's disappointing season.

Jordan Amavi is under contract at OM until June 2025, but is unlikely to be retained by Pablo Longoria, despite OM's need for two players at left-back following the imminent departure of Kolasinac and the return to Arsenal of Nuno Tavares.
