Mercato OM: Longoria already has an agreement with two players!
On Twitter, Mohamed Bouhafsi spoke about OM's summer mercato, and made an interesting revelation. OM have already agreed to sign two players, but the next coach still has to validate these two potential recruits.
OM are awaiting Marcelo Gallardo's response. According to the Argentine press, the former River Plate coach will make up his mind in the next few hours, on Saturday at the latest. A decision which, if favorable, will then really launch Marseille's mercato.
Mohamed Bouhafsi, a former journalist with RMC Sport and an avowed supporter of OM, about whom he is always very well informed, gave an update on the Gallardo dossier on Twitter in the last few hours: "I preferred not to say anything because there was nothing new. No new offer or anything. Gallardo has had an offer for several days. Last Monday, OM asked him to respond before the weekend. We're expecting a reply in the next few hours", he confirmed.
An international central defender on the horizon?
And Mohamed Bouhafsi then made an interesting revelation about Marseille's mercato: "As far as the mercato is concerned, everything is blocked because of the coach, whereas OM have agreements on 2 players. There are two agreements and now the coach has to validate them or not! There's an international central defender who played in the last World Cup. And that's the way it should be. OM isn 't going to impose players so that the coach can carter them," he said.
For the time being, the names of these two players have not yet filtered through, but it won't be long before they do. For the central defender, many are thinking of Moroccan international Romain Saïss, who was already rumoured to be at OM last summer and has just one year left on his contract at Besiktas.
