Mercato OM: the big contract awaiting Kondogbia in Marseille
Close to a move to OM, Geoffrey Kondogbia is set to sign a major contract with the Marseille club.
After making Marcelino's arrival on the bench official on Friday, OM could announce their first recruit of the summer mercato in the next few days in the person of <a href=/news/kondogbia-set-to-sign-for-om-for-eur7m>Geoffrey Kondogbia, on the move from Atlético Madrid with a year left on his contract.
According to several corroborating sources, the 30-year-old midfielder, who is also being courted by OL and West Ham, has reached an agreement with OM, who are close to finding common ground with the Colchoneros for a transfer in the region of 7 million euros.
Kondogbia soon to be OM's highest paid player?
Today's edition of L'Equipe reports that Kondogbia is set to sign a three-year contract with OM, running until 2026, with a further year as an option. In terms of salary, OM would offer him between 500 and 600,000 euros per month (gross), according to the sports daily.
