Mercato OM: Tudor still evasive about his future

He is said to be on Juventus' radar in the event of Massimiliano Allegri's departure. He is also said to be highly regarded by OM, with whom he is under contract until June 2024. However, it's hard to know where Igor Tudor will be coaching next season, as he skilfully dodges the subject every time he's asked, as he did this Thursday in a press conference.

So, when asked whether he would still be OM's coach next season, and if so, what his mercato requirements would be, Igor Tudor replied: "These are internal questions, which we'll see with the directors. Perhaps we'll have an exchange over the next week".

The Croatian nonetheless took advantage of the question to speak highly of his management, which can be interpreted as a positive signal: "We have a really sincere rapport, a beautiful relationship. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had this kind of relationship, with so much sharing, at any of the clubs I've been at before. When it comes to a hundred things I have to deal with in terms of the team and my management, I always have 100% support. It's not just because they want to support me, but because they believe in what I'm doing, and that's something beautiful and rare. It's a credit to these top-level managers."

Tudor was then asked about the results of a recent poll in Le Phocéen, which did not favour his continuity on the Marseille bench: "I have no comment to make on that question," he dismissed. Ditto when asked about his own wishes: "I've already answered the question, thank you."
