Mercato OM: two leads confirmed for Guendouzi
Candidate for departure from OM during the next summer mercato, Mattéo Guendouzi is interested in West Ham and Aston Villa according to the English press.
Again substitute against Lens on Saturday night, Mattéo Guendouzi is playing less at the end of the season and should be sold during the next summer mercato. Pablo Longoria is counting on his sale to replenish OM's coffers, while the 24-year-old French international seems open to a return to the Premier League.
And like this winter, Aston Villa is a credible destination for the former Arsenal midfielder. According to Fabrizio Romano, Unai Emery's club has been following him for a long time and is still interested, like several other clubs.

L'Equipe had recently cited Newcastle and West Ham. According to The Athletic, West Ham is interested in Mattéo Guendouzi to replace its English international Declan Rice, who has great chances to leave this summer (Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle want him).
On paper, Newcastle seems to be the most attractive destination for Guendouzi, as the Magpies occupy the 3rd place in the Premier League. Aston Villa is 8th while West Ham is 15th.
