Mercato OM: Van den Boomen heads to Ajax Amsterdam
Dutch midfielder Branco van den Boomen is set to sign for Ajax Amsterdam, having reached the end of his contract at Toulouse and been rumoured to be in OM's sights.
After three full seasons at Toulouse, with whom he enjoyed the joys of a Ligue 1 promotion and a French Cup victory, Branco van den Boomen will be leaving this summer when his contract expires.
And according to Fabrizio Romano, who a few days ago revealed OM's interest in the 27-year-old Dutch midfielder, Van den Boomen will be signing for Ajax Amsterdam, the club where he trained but failed to break through.
Medical tests booked, then contract to be signed — valid until June 2027.
