Mercato PSG: a Saudi club goes after Icardi!
Having enjoyed a fine season at Galatasaray, where he was on loan from PSG, Mauro Icardi (30) could sign for Saudi Arabia this summer.
After attracting Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, but missing out on Lionel Messi, Saudi Arabia intends to recruit other European stars in the coming days. N'Golo Kanté, Riyad Mahrez and Angel Di Maria are all being courted.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Saudi club Al-Taawoun (5th in the latest Saudi league) are also preparing a bid for Mauro Icardi (30), PSG's Argentine striker who is coming off a great season with Galatasaray, who would like to keep him.

Icardi was very happy at Galatasaray last season and no decision has been made. It will also depend on PSG. pic.twitter.com/7zWVPrt7wz
Icardi scored 23 goals in 26 appearances for the Istanbul club, who were crowned Turkish champions. Should Al-Taawoun succeed in convincing the Argentine, the Saudi club will then have to come to an agreement with PSG, as Icardi is under contract with Paris until 2024.
