Mercato: PSG are looking for a new club for Mbappé!

PSG are determined not to see him walk away free in 2024, and have begun scouring the market for a club likely to buy Kylian Mbappé this summer.

Kylian Mbappé may have been repeating since Tuesday that he wants to honor his final year of contract at PSG, but his letter sent to his club on Monday formalizing his wish not to extend beyond 2024 has caused an earthquake at the Parisian club, who are now ready to sell him this summer.

In today's edition, L'Equipe and Le Parisien confirm that PSG are not showing a firm front and intend to sell Mbappé during the 2023 summer mercato, unless the latter expresses his desire to extend, which does not seem to be his wish at this stage.

PSG already working hard to find a club for Mbappé

According to L'Equipe, PSG have even begun to activate their networks and sound out the market to find out which clubs would be interested in Kylian Mbappé, how much they would be able to put on the table and which players they could possibly include in the deal.

For the moment, these initial approaches have not led to anything concrete, but the clubs capable of buying Mbappé can in any case be counted on the fingers of one hand. There is, of course, Real Madrid, Mbappé's absolute dream, who are looking for a new striker to replace Karim Benzema and <a href=/news/mercato-psg-real-madrid-ready-to-pay-eur200m-for-mbappe>would be prepared to offer €200 million this summer.

Real Madrid or the Premier League for Mbappé?

Kylian Mbappé may have been a fan of AC Milan ever since he was a child, as he reiterated in La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday, but he seems to have no chance of joining Serie A in the short term. The same goes for the Bundesliga. Barça have been following him for a long time, but don't have the means to pull off such an operation.

That leaves England, where Kylian Mbappé admires Jürgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola. Liverpool could do with a Mbappé to add to their attack, while Manchester City already seem to be well equipped offensively. Last but not least, there's the Manchester United rumor mill, which will be contesting the next Champions League and is being courted by Qatar. This has led some media, such as El Paris, to suggest that Kyks' future could lie at Old Trafford.
