Mercato PSG: Barça has decided for Neymar

While PSG wants to part with Neymar and the latter is finally open to a departure, the Barça track has just been greatly cooled in Catalonia.

Under contract at PSG until 2027, Neymar is no longer in the odor of sanctity in Paris. His leaders want to sell him since last summer and some fans are calling for his departure, even to his home. Refractory at first to leave Paris and make a cross on his juicy contract at PSG, Neymar is now ready to leave according to the Brazilian press. An information also confirmed in France by several sources.

According to RMC Sport, the first contacts have been made by some intermediaries for a departure of Neymar this summer and it is currently a question of a loan with an option to buy, just to attract the most possible suitors. If Saudi Arabia is on the lookout, the destination does not seem to interest Neymar, whose only credible destination seems to be the Premier League.

Neymar not in the plans of Barça

And Barça in all this? Inevitably, as each time the future of Neymar animates the debates, the name of the Catalan club comes back automatically. According to Sport, a return of the Brazilian to Barça this summer, six years after his departure to PSG for 222 M€, will not happen and has never been in the plans of the Catalan club, which dreams mainly of a return of Leo Messi.

The Barcelona media also believes that the future of Neymar is in England if he leaves PSG. Manchester United, Newcastle and Chelsea are cited, as often. But as RMC reminds us, nothing says that these clubs will concretely take action this summer to enlist the 31-year-old playmaker, who has not played since February 19 and his new injury against Lille.
