Eager to repatriate Leo Messi this summer, Barça has been working for several weeks with big sponsors to make the return of the Argentine economically viable.

Forced by La Liga to drastically reduce their wage bill in order to sign new players this summer, can Barça realistically consider getting Leo Messi, one of the highest paid players in the world?

According to Gerard Romero, the answer is yes. On his Twitch channel, the pro-Barça journalist revealed this Monday that the Barcelona club has been working for several weeks with big sponsors to be able to finance the return of the Argentine, at the end of his contract at PSG this summer. Which sponsors? Romero did not say more, but assures that both Barça and Messi are increasingly optimistic about a reunion this summer.

In recent days, several Catalan media have explained that Barça intends to offer Messi a reasonable salary and at the same time promise him a percentage of the income that his return will generate. A way to satisfy the Argentine world champion economically, while remaining within the limits of the financial fair play of La Liga.
