The departure of Leo Messi this summer will allow PSG to lighten its wage bill and have more latitude to carry out its mercato. Luis Campos has already made good progress on two French players according to L'Equipe.

PSG's mercato is once again going to be eventful. The Parisian club is looking for a new coach and will seek to build a more balanced squad around Kylian Mbappé. In this sense, the departure of Leo Messi will free up a lot of wage bill and should allow PSG to be competitive on the transfer market.

According to Le Parisien, PSG will change their strategy and will look to recruit young, strong players who are attached to the club. Several players from the Ile-de-France are targeted. In today's edition, L'Equipe also dedicates a big article on PSG's future mercato, which should open with the free signing of Slovakian central defender Milan Skriniar, who is at the end of his contract at Inter Milan. His recent back surgery should not jeopardize his arrival. What next?

PSG targets at least four players this summer

PSG would be looking for a central defender playing on the left side according to L'Equipe, which cites several names, from Lucas Hernandez (Bayern Munich) to Evan Ndicka (end of contract at Frankfurt) through Aymeric Laporte (Manchester City) and Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan). PSG is also looking for an athletic midfielder and several players are being considered: Manu Koné (Mönchengladbach), Khéphren Thuram (Nice), Youssouf Fofana (AS Monaco) and Ibrahim Sangaré (PSV Eindhoven).

In the offensive sector, L'Equipe also confirms that an attacking midfielder playing on the right side is wanted by Paris. Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Rayan Cherki (OL), Moussa Diaby (Bayer Leverkusen) and Michael Olise (Crystal Palace) are mentioned by the sports daily. Finally, a deep striker is also targeted and the two names that come up the most are those of Victor Osimhen (Napoli) and Randal Kolo Muani (Frankfurt).

But the real news from the daily L'Equipe this morning is that PSG has made good progress on two tricolored tracks. The two names have unfortunately not yet filtered, but are probably in the list above.
