Kolo Muani in Frankfurt one more year ?
After a very successful first season at Eintracht Frankfurt, Randal Kolo Muani is being courted by many big European clubs for the summer transfer window, including PSG. But Frankfurt has the means to keep him and would like to keep him for another year.
Like Victor Osimhen, Randal Kolo Muani is having a great season and is rumored to be in the sights of PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich for the summer transfer window.
But like Napoli, Eintracht Frankfurt is not a seller and will only let go of his striker in case of a very big offer. According to the German media Sport1, it will cost at least 100 million euros to buy the 24-year-old French international, who joined Frankfurt last summer from Nantes.
The German club's director of soccer, Markus Krösche, spoke on Thursday about the Kolo Muani case: "We have no intention of selling Randal Kolo Muani this summer after only one year with us. The hype around him is understandable and normal. He has earned it after his great performances," he told Sport1.
"An extra season with us would certainly do him good"
According to the German media, Frankfurt has not yet received any offer for its French striker and hopes to convince him of the interest for him to stay at least one more season, with Euro 2024 in sight: "We want to continue to move forward with him and not necessarily sell him. An extra season with us would certainly be good for him," said Krösche.
Randal Kolo Muani has scored 16 goals and provided 14 assists for Frankfurt this season, starting for the French national team against the Netherlands and Ireland during the international break in March. His current contract runs until 2027 and does not include a release clause. Sport1 says that communication is very good between Eintracht and Moussa Sissoko, the new agent of Kolo Muani.
