Mercato PSG: Manchester City targets Hakimi
Manchester City is interested in signing PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi, according to Spanish daily Marca.
Achraf Hakimi's agent spoke at length to Madrid daily AS on Saturday, and did not close the door on a move away from PSG. At the same time, the Madrid daily Marca is reporting that Manchester City are interested in signing the Moroccan right-back (what timing!).

Manchester City are no longer counting on João Cancelo, whom Bayern Munich failed to keep on loan, and Kyle Walker could sign this summer... for Bayern Munich. According to Marca, Pep Guardiola is considering the recruitment of a right-back and has set his sights on Achraf Hakimi.
Hakimi to City, Cancelo to PSG?
The 24-year-old Moroccan international is coming off a complicated season with PSG and could be tempted to join the English club, who have won an impressive treble this season. But assuming Hakimi is keen on the move, PSG will have to be persuaded to sell the player, who is under contract until 2026.
"The English would be prepared to pay dearly for a player they consider essential to the perfect machine that Pep Guardiola is setting up," says Marca, without mentioning the rivalries between City's Emirati shareholders and PSG's Qatari shareholders.
PSG are also interested in Bernardo Silva, and it would be no surprise if Paris were to include João Cancelo's name in its negotiations with Manchester City. An option that would undoubtedly delight Jorge Mendes, the powerful Portuguese agent of Cancelo, as well as Marco Asensio and Manuel Ugarte, who are expected to sign for PSG this summer.
