Mercato PSG: Marcus Thuram chooses Inter Milan

After rejecting PSG and Leipzig, Marcus Thuram has chosen Inter Milan over AC Milan.

Having reached the end of his contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Marcus Thuram has made his choice. It won't be PSG, as had already been rumoured on Thursday, nor RB Leipzig, who were considering him following Christopher Nkunku's departure to Chelsea.

AC Milan and Inter Milan were still in the running, and the Rossoneri seemed to have the upper hand in recent days. But as revealed by FootMercato on Friday evening and subsequently confirmed by several Italian media, Marcus Thuram has finally decided to join... Inter Milan.

The 25-year-old French international has given his verbal agreement to the Nerazzurri, who have made a slightly higher offer than the Rossoneri, according to Sky Italia. Inter Milan now hope to close the deal quickly and make the Frenchman's arrival official.

Barring yet another twist, Marcus Thuram will bolster an Inter attack that has lost Edin Dzeko to Fenerbahçe in recent hours, as well as Romelu Lukaku, back on loan at Chelsea but still being courted by Inter Milan.
