Mercato PSG: Mbappé denies wanting to sign for Real Madrid this summer!
Following on from his statement to AFP in response to his decision not to activate his optional extra year at PSG, Kylian Mbappé denied on Twitter reports that he would like to sign for Real Madrid this summer.
The Mbappé soap opera is turning into a circus. On Twitter, Mbappé has just denied the latest information from Le Parisien according to which he would like to join Real Madrid this summer to succeed Karim Benzema. The Paris striker insists that he wants to honour the last year of his contract at PSG, as he had already said at the UNFP Trophées.
"I've already said that I'm going to continue next season at PSG".
"LIES...❌ At the same time the bigger the better. I've already said that I'll continue next season at PSG where I'm very happy," assured the 2018 world champion on Twitter, in response to the article in the French daily.

En même temps plus c’est gros plus ça passe. J’ai déjà dis que je vais continuer la saison prochaine au PSG où je suis très heureux. https://t.co/QTsoBQvZKU
Meanwhile, PSG have been spreading the word since last night that they would not let Mbappé leave free in 2024 following the latter's decision not to extend until 2025, as an option allowed in his current contract.
"Either he extends, or he will be sold this summer," PSG has been saying behind the scenes since last night. As for Mbappé, he has reaffirmed his intention to honour the last year of his contract with PSG. So as not to be the bad guy in the event of a transfer to Real Madrid this summer?
