"I'm happy to stay here next season"
And the France captain repeated what he had said in recent hours about his short-term future: "I haven't asked to be sold, nor to go to Real Madrid. I only confirmed that I didn't want to activate the extra year in my contract. With PSG, we never talked about an extension, but I'm happy to stay here next season," he assures us.
"We knew there were shortcomings that sooner or later end up paying for themselves"
Mbappé also returned to PSG's latest elimination in the Champions League Round of 8 against Bayern Munich: "At the highest level, for a competitor like me, the aim is to win all the titles. We knew there were shortcomings which sooner or later pay off. You have to learn from the mistakes of each season, and not repeat them every time. Individually, on the other hand, I've been maintaining a high level for several years now: I want to continue to progress so that I always stay at the top.
