Mercato PSG: Real Madrid ready to try again for Mbappé
Real Madrid will try to recruit Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé during the next summer mercato according to the English press. An information quickly denied in Spain.
Known to be a serious English media, the Daily Telegraph has dropped a small mercato bomb in recent hours by stating that Real Madrid intends to return to the charge for Kylian Mbappé this summer. If Real's interest in the PSG hotshot is not new and has never disappeared, the information may surprise insofar as the player is under contract at PSG until 2024 with an additional year in option.

If Real Madrid want to recruit Mbappé this summer, then they will necessarily have to negotiate with PSG. And after the affront of the summer of 2021, during which PSG had refused the 200 M€ of Florentino Pérez, and then the extension of Mbappé last May, Real Madrid has spread the word in the Spanish press that it does not intend to discuss with PSG and will patiently wait until the crack of Bondy is free before recruiting him.
Real Madrid wants to step into the breach, but...
"Real Madrid will look to exploit the uncertainty at Paris Saint-Germain this summer and will explore the possibility of a record-breaking transfer of Kylian Mbappé, alongside the pursuit of Jude Bellingham," says the Daily Telegraph, however, noting that PSG are determined to keep their top striker and build around him.
In Spain, the information of the English media has quickly made the rounds. Josep Pedrerol, famous presenter of El Chiringuito, who is known to be close to Florentino Pérez, repeated last night that Real Madrid will not negotiate with PSG for Kylian Mbappé. Unless the Frenchman forces his departure, little chance to see him leave Paris this summer.
