Mercato PSG: Roma think about Icardi
Having enjoyed a great season at Galatasaray, where he was on loan from PSG, Mauro Icardi has caught the eye of AS Roma, according to the Italian press.
Scorer of 23 goals in 26 appearances, Mauro Icardi has become a soccer player again at Galatasaray this season after a complicated few months at PSG, both on the pitch and in his private life.
Contracted to PSG until June 2024, the Argentine striker is unlikely to be retained by the French club this summer, and Galatasaray, crowned Turkish champions, would very much like to keep him.
An €8m bid for Icardi?
But according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AS Roma are also interested in Icardi to replace their English striker Tammy Abraham, who suffered a serious right knee injury last weekend and will be out for several months.

According to the Italian daily, the good relations between Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Roma's American owners could facilitate the deal. However, no figures were given by the pink daily. Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur mentioned a possible Roma offer of €8 million.
