Mercato: PSG still in the hunt for Harry Kane?
Harry Kane has reached an agreement with Bayern Munich, according to the German press, but is still a long way from leaving Tottenham, and PSG have not yet thrown in the towel, according to the French press.
The Harry Kane story gathered pace on Tuesday with a succession of reports from England and Germany. First it was <a href=/news/mercato-psg-bayern-munich-offered-more-than-eur70m-for-kane>The Athletic which revealed that Bayern Munich had made an initial official offer to Spurs of €70m plus bonuses for its captain.

An offer quickly rejected by the London club, who are demanding at least 100 million for their striker, according to Bild. The German tabloid then revealed that Harry Kane already had a verbal agreement with Bayern Munich, which was confirmed by Sky Sports DE.

According to Sky Sports DE, Bayern Munich is Harry Kane's preferred destination in the event of a move abroad, and the Bavarian club intends to send Tottenham a new written offer. And what about PSG?
PSG has not said its last word
In today's edition, Le Parisien reports that PSG are continuing to negotiate with the 29-year-old England international's entourage, "doubtless" offering him a better salary than Bayern. Le Parisien also believes that PSG could offer Tottenham more money than the German club.
But if the reports in the German press are correct, Harry Kane seems to have a clear preference for Bayern Munich, so it doesn't look good for PSG. In their search for a new centre-forward, PSG are also eyeing Victor Osimhen, <a href=/news/mercato-psg-napoli-demand-outrageous-price-for-osimhen>for whom Napoli are asking €180m, and Randal Kolo Muani, whom Frankfurt value at around €100m.
