Mercato PSG: the wind has changed for Neymar
A few weeks ago, Neymar was eager for a change of scenery and was pushed towards the exit by his managers, but he could end up staying at PSG this summer.
Having arrived in Paris in 2017, like Kylian Mbappé, Neymar has lived a thousand lives in Paris. But while a departure this summer still seemed to be on the cards last month, the trend is more towards the status quo and another season at PSG.

According to L'Equipe, the Brazilian is not determined to leave PSG this summer, even though the episode with the Ultras had prompted him to seriously consider the idea in recent weeks. But Neymar still feels at home in Paris and doesn't want to leave for the sake of leaving. As previously reported, L'Equipe confirms that Neymar is not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia this summer.
PSG don't want to lose the whole MNM in one summer
PSG are not interested in losing their entire MNM in the same summer either. Lionel Messi has already left, Kylian Mbappé says he'll stay, but the Frenchman's future remains uncertain and tied to Real Madrid. If the latter were to be transferred this summer, Neymar would then be retained according to L'Equipe and perhaps even "strengthened". The arrival of Luis Enrique, with whom he spent three seasons at Barça, also reinforces the idea of the Brazilian staying in Paris.
However, according to L'Equipe, everything remains open and nothing can be ruled out with two months to go before the end of the mercato. But at the moment, Neymar is more in than out. Having undergone surgery on his right ankle in March, the Parisian No.10 hopes to return to training in mid-July, and those around him promise that he is determined to have a great season: "He misses soccer and is very hungry. It's going to be a very important season for him," a close friend told the daily sports newspaper.
