The Spanish press are in agreement about Marco Asensio's future. Like El Chiringuito last night, Madrid daily AS confirms that the 27-year-old Spanish attacking midfielder is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid free to join PSG, where a four- to five-year contract awaits him.
According to AS, several Premier League clubs were on Marco Asensio's trail, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Unai Emery's Aston Villa. "But PSG's project and the interest shown by the Parisian club seem to have tipped the balance in favour of the Ligue 1 champions," adds the Spanish media outlet.
For the moment, Marco Asensio's imminent arrival at PSG has not really been confirmed by the French press.
