Mercato: Zidane turns down PSG again

PSG have again approached Zinedine Zidane in recent weeks to succeed Christophe Galtier, but the Marseille-born player has once again rebuffed the capital club's advances.

Zinedine Zidane will not be PSG's next coach. Zidane's name has not featured too prominently in the rumours surrounding the Parisian bench, and for good reason. According to Le Parisien, PSG have been approaching him in recent weeks to take over from Christophe Galtier.

However, just as he did in the autumn of 2021 and spring of 2022 when Mauricio Pochettino was being considered, Zinedine Zidane has once again turned down the Parisian club. And this time, there's no longer the excuse of the French national team, as Didier Deschamps has been extended until 2026 by the FFF.

"For the moment, I've made no plans".

An old dream of Qatar, Zidane will probably never coach PSG... At the end of April, RMC Sport revealed that Zizou's priority was to coach Juventus Turin, his former club. But despite his poor season, the Turin club have made it clear in recent days that they have decided to retain Massimiliano Allegri.

Present in Paris on Wednesday for an event organized by the ELA association, of which he is an ambassador, Zidane was asked by a child about his future career plans. To which Zinedine Zidane replied: "Which newspaper are you working for? You surprise me with your question! For the moment, I don 't have any plans".
