Official: Branco van den Boomen signs for Ajax Amsterdam

Dutch midfielder Branco van den Boomen has signed a new contract with Ajax Amsterdam.
As revealed yesterday by Fabrizio Romano, Branco van den Boomen's transfer to Ajax Amsterdam is now official. Having reached the end of his contract at Toulouse, the 27-year-old Dutch midfielder has committed himself to Ajax, who finished a disappointing 3rd in the Eredivisie this season, until June 2027.

Branco van den Boomen, who enjoyed a fine season with Toulouse (6 goals and 13 assists), returns to a club whose colors he wore for three years during his formative years, from 2011 to 2014. It's with a completely different status that he returns to Amsterdam, nine years after his departure.
