Official: Loftus-Cheek leaves Chelsea for AC Milan

On Friday evening, AC Milan confirmed the signing of Chelsea's English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek (27).

AC Milan have made their second summer signing. After goalkeeper <a href=/news/official-milan-sign-mike-maignans-new-understudy>Marco Sportiello, who comes to understudy Mike Maignan, the Rossoneri have set their sights on Ruben Loftus-Cheek, the versatile 27-year-old English midfielder who used to play for Chelsea.

A 10-time England international who made 33 appearances for the Blues last season, Loftus-Cheek has signed a new contract with AC Milan until June 2027, when he will replace Sandro Tonali at Newcastle. The transfer is valued at €16m, with €4m in bonuses.
