Official: Loïc Badé transferred to Seville for €12m
Stade Rennais have confirmed the definitive departure of Loïc Badé to Sevilla, who have exercised their €12 million option to buy.
Monchi had already announced the news last week, in the excitement of Sevilla's victory in the Europa League final. This Friday, Stade Rennais and the Andalusian club made official the definitive transfer of Loïc Badé to Sevilla FC.
The 23-year-old French central defender joined the Andalusian club in the winter transfer window on loan, with a €12 million option to buy. Sevilla took up this option today, having been impressed by Loïc Badé's 27 appearances since his arrival.

A youth product of Le Havre and Lens, Loïc Badé was transferred to Rennes in the summer of 2021 for 17 million euros, but failed to establish himself there. On loan last summer to Nottingham Forest, where he did not play, Badé relaunched himself at Sevilla last winter with the success we all know. His contract with the Spanish club runs until 2027.
