Official: Luis Suarez leaves OM for Almeria
Luis Suarez's departure from OM has been official since early June, when Almeria stayed in La Liga.
Luis Suarez will no longer be playing for OM, it's official. The 25-year-old Colombian striker has signed a contract until June 2029 with Almeria, whom he joined last winter on loan with an option to buy. The option to buy was set at 8 million euros, and became compulsory if the Spanish club were to stay in La Liga.
In early June, Almeria secured their place in La Liga after a thrilling final round of matches. Between OM and Almeria, Luis Suarez made 32 appearances last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists.
