Official: Luiz Gustavo and Alvaro Gonzalez leave Al-Nassr
Runners-up in the latest Saudi league, Al-Nassr announced over the weekend that Luiz Gustavo and Alvaro Gonzalez would be leaving at the end of their contracts.
Former OM players Luiz Gustavo and Alvaro Gonzalez joined Saudi club Al-Nassr last summer. Their contract, which expired on June 30, has not been extended, and the two players will no longer be playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo next season.
Thank you for the hard work, Luiz đź’›

This is hardly surprising, given that the Saudi club plans to recruit several stars this summer and can only count 8 foreign players in its squad. These currently include Cristiano Ronaldo, Talisca, David Ospina, Ghislain Konan, Jin-su Kim, Pity MartĂnez and Jaloliddin Masharipov.
Barring any surprises, Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is set to leave Inter Milan for Al-Nassr this week. The Saudi club were also courting Hakim Ziyech, but a problem was detected during his medical and the transfer is unlikely to go ahead. Lens midfielder Seko Fofana is also being courted by Riyadh.
