Official: Mahamadou Diawara moves from PSG to OL
Olympique Lyonnais have announced the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Mahamadou Diawara from PSG.
Announced a few days ago, the signing of 18-year-old Mahamadou Diawara by OL was made official this Friday by the Lyon club. A box-to-box midfielder, Diawara arrives from PSG as a free agent and has signed a four-year contract with Olympique Lyonnais, running until June 2027. This is his first pro contract.
"Olympique Lyonnais is delighted with the arrival of Mahamadou Diawara, confirming the club's attractiveness for young players, and hopes, like Saël Kumbedi this season, to give him the opportunity to confirm his full potential at the highest level," says OL in its press release.

On his social networks, the young player also commented: "I'm very happy and proud to announce the signing of my first professional contract with OL.
