Official: Tiémoué Bakayoko leaves Chelsea for good
Six years after his move to Chelsea, Tiémoué Bakayoko has terminated the final year of his contract with the Blues and is now a free agent.
Crowned French champion with Monaco in 2017, Tiémoué Bakayoko joined Chelsea for €40 million. But six years on, the 28-year-old French international (1 international cap) has failed to establish himself with the Blues, and has terminated the final year of his contract.
The list of players retained for the 2023/24 season has been published, with Tiemoue Bakayoko’s departure from the club now confirmed.

After successive loan spells with Monaco, AC Milan, Napoli and AC Milan, Bakayoko is now free of any contract and will have to find a new challenge after a 2022-2023 season during which he played just 39 minutes for the Rossoneri.
