PSG digs a new track in Brazil for its bench
PSG is looking for a replacement for Christophe Galtier this summer and a new name has been linked to the Parisian club, that of Portuguese Abel Ferreira.
The "mercashow" of coaches is on the front page of L'Equipe this Thursday. The sports daily looks at the coaches' mercato and the possible changes on the benches of Ligue 1 this summer. Barring any surprises, Christophe Galtier will not be retained by PSG, who have already activated their networks to find a new coach.
Pour les entraîneurs aussi, le mercato sera chaud

The daily newspaper reviews the various leads that have already appeared in the press in recent weeks, from Jose Mourinho (AS Roma) to Thiago Motta (Bologna), via Zinedine Zidane (free) or Marcelo Gallardo (free). But it is difficult to know today who will decide in fine in this case between Doha, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi or Luis Campos and who will be the lucky one.
Luis Campos likes Abel Ferreira
According to L'Equipe, Luis Campos will have his say in any case and a surprise is not excluded. "You are missing two or three names," said a connoisseur of the file to the sports daily, which reveals that Luis Campos appreciates, for example, the work of his compatriot Abel Ferreira (44 years, ex Braga), who won the Brazilian championship with Palmeiras a few months ago, as well as two Copa Libertadores.
"But would entrusting the responsibilities of such a project to such an inexperienced profile make sense?", asks L'Equipe about Abel Ferreira, who is under contract until December 2024 with the Brazilian club. As you can see, Paris has several ideas, but none of them really stand out at the moment, each one having advantages and disadvantages.
