A familiar name
Available since his departure from the Spanish national team at the end of the last World Cup, <a href=/news/psg-naples-duel-for-luis-enrique>Luis Enrique had already been presented on May 25 as a serious option by Le Parisien. Luis Enrique to sign 2-year contract with PSG
This news was confirmed by L'Equipe, who confirmed that PSG had chosen Luis Enrique and hoped to announce his appointment in the middle of next week. The trend is also confirmed by Le Parisien, which states that discussions between the Spaniard and PSG are at an advanced stage, with the aim of signing a two-year contract.
Luis Enrique, who coached Barça during their famous comeback against PSG in 2017, is set to move to Paris, where he will be reunited with Neymar and a dressing room featuring a number of Spanish-speaking players. Renowned for his refined style of play, Luis Enrique is an adept of the 4-3-3. Could this turn PSG's summer mercato upside down?
